[UT2003] DE eerste patch is er ...

    The UT2003 patch to version 2136 is now available. The version posted is for windows clients and servers. There will be a linux version shortly. This patch supercedes the editor fixes that have been previously posted - applying those fixes to this patch will break the patch!

    This patch is completely network compatible with the retail version. Patched clients can connect to unpatched servers, and unpatched clients can connect to patched servers.

    This [b:ccdd1523ec]patch will overwrite your user.ini and ut2003.ini files, because it adds some important new properties to these configuration files.[/b:ccdd1523ec]

    To use it with windows dedicated servers, rename it to ut2003-winpatch2136Release.zip, open and extract it to a temporary location with winzip, and copy the system directory (subdirectory of UT2003patch) into the system subdirectory of your server installation.

    We will be releasing an updated version of UDebugger and updated .uc files for mod developers shortly.

    If there is no momentum on death, add a small random one. Reduces ragdolls just falling to their knees.
    added mouse acceleration for improved fine aiming control. Can be turned on by adding the following line to the [Engine.PlayerInput] section in user.ini: MouseAccelThreshold=+100.0

    Letter key support in Speech Menu. The ut2003.ini option bSpeechMenuUseLetters turns this on, and you can specify what keys it uses in the .ini file as well.

  • pfoeh, heb je de 10 mb in enkele seconden gedowned?
    of begrijp ik iets niet :o
    de patch die ik heb opgehaald is een zelfuitpakkende zipper (sja…) en activeert de installer zodat dubbelklikken idd voldoende is
    je moet alleen bij settings je instellingen opnieuw doen
    er zouden geen versie-mismatches mogen optreden wanneer je op internet speelt
  • met die drukte op de servers toch die patch in een paar seconden binnen ? Da's geluk hebben … het zijn wel 10 Megabytes :)

    En installeren is niks meer dan click & run :D

    btw : weet iemand hoe dat voicemenu bedient moet worden met de muis ?
    Ik kan wel scrollen met de knop, maar kiezen ?

    Nee……..Ik bedoel te zeggen dat ik op het moment van schrijven bij 96% was..en dus binnen enkele seconden klaar was. :o :o :o

  • Alleen jammer dat de No-cd crack hier niet mee werkt -er zal echter binnenkort wel een andere beschikbaar zijn.

    =>Ja, ik heb een legale versie, maar ik heb een k#thekel aan dat checken van de cd als je opstart :-(

  • Hé perfect! Ik vond 'm nu ook op gamecopyworld. Laatst nog gekeken, maar toen stond 'ie nog niet.
    Kan de cd weer in zijn hoes :-)
  • Ik heb Unreal Tournament zojuist gekocht en wou dat NoCD gebeuren ook ff doen, maar hoe werkt dat nou precies? Ik heb een bestandje van 71 kb (van GameCopyWorld) gedownload en wat nu?

    Controleren of er geen virus en/of trojan horse of andere vuiligheid in zit met behulp van een goede, recente & legale virusscanner ?
  • Nou, die reactie blinkt waarlijk niet uit in behulpzaamheid :roll: Ik weet dat je zeer gekant bent tegen illegale software, maar is er ook al iets mis met het opheffen van het ongemak veroorzaakt door beveiligingen?

    Enfin, in de zip die je gedownload hebt, zit een exe. Deze kopieer je naar de map waar de originele UT2003.exe in staat (UT2003/system als ik me niet vergis). Op de vraag of het oude bestand door het nieuwe moet worden overgeschreven antwoord je 'ja'.Wanneer je nu het spel opstart hoef je de cd niet meer in de speler te doen.
