WinXPDisableZeroConfiguration - Belkin

Na wat Googlen kwam ik het volgende tegen: [quote:1f9486f43a]....Belkin installs this executable (WinXPDisableZeroConfigation) as part of their driver and utility package. The purpose of this utility is whenever Windows starts the Wireless Zero Configuration Services to kill it. This approach has totally stunned me... It is the kind of programming you'd expect from some crappy spyware product but to get this as part of a commercial product... Worse, now you are no longer in control to set what you want to use to configure the Wireless Network settings. Whenever you select Windows this utility see that and kills it... Incredible.... The solution is to go to Start, click RUN and type REGEDIT [Enter]. Under HKLM\Software \Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run you can find the line that starts this utility. DELETE THAT LINE.
