yum update niet mogelijk na sluiten console

- Het is me niet duidelijk wat ik moet toevoegen aan yum.conf
- Het lijkt er op dat het yum update process hard wordt gekilled waardoor er een lock file of iets dergelijks blijft door draaien.
Doe een ps ax en zoek de yum processen op (sneller: ps ax | grep yum).
Dan doe je een kill -9 op die processen en doe je weer een yum update.
Misschien is het handiger om in je etc/yum.conf wat meer repositories te zetten..als hij ze dan niet kan bereiken moet yum er gewoon uit errorren zonder te crashen.

Als ik[code:1:03d559fc7c]yum update[/code:1:03d559fc7c]uitvoer, en 1 van de repositories reageert niet, dan sluit ik de console.
Na openen console en weer yum update verschijnt de melding dat dit nietmogelijk is, Uiteraard komt dit doordat de eerste poging afgebroken is.
Bestaat er een opdracht die ervoor zorgt dat ik na een 2e keer gewoon yum update kan uitvoeren?
Steeds re-booten vindt ik nix.

- Blijkbaar kan hij niet bij de yum repositories..voeg er meer toe aan je yum.conf file.
Voor mirrors voor bijv in NL zie ook de Fedora website.
M. - Ik heb in een terminal venster "yum update" uitgevoerd.
Dat is om de een of andere reden gestopt (blijven hangen).
Het opnieuw uitvoeren lukt me niet meer.

Ik heb nu alleen een ander probleem.
Het lijkt er op dat het einde van het draaien van yum update niet wordt gehaald.
Kan ik hetgeen geupdate dient te worden in stukjes delen zodat ik kleinere delen kan updaten? - vorige probleempje opgelost.

kopyeer nu de url's die ik aanboodt in de yum.conf,
Degene die er al staan kan je markeren met een #, zodat ze niet gelezen worden
tyoe nu yum update - Ik heb alles overgenomen uit jouw yum.conf.

Kan het zijn dat yum.conf helemaal niet gebruikt wordt? En dat er uit een ander bestand wordt gelezen? - die ftp met etulsa moet ergens staan..
Je hebt het toch wel gesaved als yum.conf in /etc ??
kan je de inhoud van je /etc folder hier deponeren?
Je typt yum update als root?
waar komen die dependencies vandaan? Het beste kan je die 2 dependencies evtueel installeren zonder yum.
